Affirmative action: Interest in college diversity only runs one-way

The Sun's "Race and admissions" editorial (Oct. 10) was beyond disingenuous.

Not once does the editorial mention the lack of racial diversity at colleges such as Morgan State, Fisk, Grambling, etc.; nor lack of gender diversity at Bryn Mawr, Barnard, Smith, Mount Holyoke and Wellesley. Per your editorial, students at these colleges are not being exposed to the broadest array of peers but are stuck in a homogeneous racial/gender cocoon!
