Abortion protesters deserve a taste of their own medicine

Thank you for writing the article shining a light on anti-choice people who harass and humiliate people and their families who are not breaking any laws ("Abortion fight widens," May 11). To think that these people would go to a man's middle-school aged daughter's school to defame the girl and her family because the girl's dad rents space to abortion providers is deplorable. These anti-choice fanatics should get a taste of their own medicine by receiving calls and visits to their neighborhoods and schools. Then maybe they will leave people alone.

If you don't think abortion is right because of your religion, or whatever, don't have one. It is legal in our country. One out of three women have had one. It is a choice a woman must make herself or with her family or doctor.

Again, thank you for a very well-written and informative article.

Planned Parenthood doesn't need federal money

The Sun's editors opine that taxpayers should fund Planned Parenthood ("The GOP's never-ending war on women," Aug. 4). Here are just a few reasons Planned Parenthood does not deserve these hard-earned taxpayer dollars:

  • After Obamacare, do we need Planned Parenthood?

After Obamacare, do we need Planned Parenthood?

Regarding columnist Cal Thomas' recent commentary on Planned Parenthood, the organization exists to provide reproductive health care to those who can't afford it ("Why selling baby parts should shock no one," July 26).

Abortion, like human sacrifice, must come to an end

The Sun continues to usher in this age of universal deceit with its editorial "GOP's never-ending war on women" (Aug. 4). Is it not glaringly obvious that the "little women" being savaged by Planned Parenthood's practice meet your standards of "war?" It is unreasonable to suggest, as members of...

This is why conservatives want to de-fund Planned Parenthood

Having read The Sun's recent editorial on the "GOP's never-ending war on women" (August 5), what I really glean The Sun's never ending war on Republicans in general and conservatives in particular. The editorial attempts to connect the pro-life movement's opposition to funding Planned Parenthood...

The GOP isn't waging a 'war on women'

Oh, how your editorial tries to make Republicans look cruel and uncaring: "it's human nature to hear the words 'heart' and 'lungs' and think potential person, with your mind making the short leap to baby" ("The GOP's never-ending war on women," Aug. 5). If the words heart and lung were coming from...

Liberals wage war on women's common sense

For the first time ever I am prompted to respond as a woman and as a Republican to your editorial in the Aug. 5 Sun paper about women's health, the GOP and Planned Parenthood ("The GOP's never-ending war on women". I continue to be incensed that Democrats think there is a large group of female...
