I've been reading with interest the hullabaloo regarding the necessary implementation of BGE's PeakRewards System on Friday, July 22. ("BGE plan angers customers" July 24.) I participate in this program, and I, too, came home to a hot house. At first I was very upset, but after "cooling off" (ha ha) I decided it was better to come home to a warm house than for BGE's system to have crashed from the demand and not have any electricity at all! So I just took a cold shower, bellied up to a fan and watched TV with a cold drink and dreamed about the next blizzard. I will remain a participant of the PeakRewards Program.
