I believe something needs to be done at the Baltimore games before someone gets seriously hurt. I drove up from Raleigh, N.C., to take my boyfriend to the Bengals vs. Baltimore game last year as a surprise because that is the closest the Bengals have ever gotten to us. We were treated poorly right of the, bat but it only got worse.

During the first quarter my boyfriend took my 16-year-old cousin to the bathroom because we were warned by a local that some people can be pretty bad at the games and we should never go to the bathroom alone. While he was gone, I was in the stands with my cousin's boyfriend, and the Bengals got a first down. I cheered and I was greeted with "sit the [expletive] down and shut the [expletive] up." This came from a large, 6-foot-something biker-looking man behind me. I told him that I was allowed to cheer for my team and he proceeded to threaten me and then pushed me into the people sitting in front of me.

They thought I had pushed them and began to yell at me. The stadium cops heard all of this and grabbed me before hearing me out because in the sea of purple, I was wearing black and orange. As they led me down the stairs I had beer bottles thrown at me. When they got me out, I told them what happened, and I began to cry because I was upset by it all. Once I started to cry, they said I was drunk and disorderly because I was emotional. They refused to listen to anything I said after that, so my cousin's boyfriend had to explain what happened. At this point the guy who pushed me came by and said I had hit him and that is why he pushed me. Again, he was a very big guy and I am 5' 2".

They took his word over mine and kicked me out in the first quarter. I paid $200 a ticket and drove six hours for that.

My uncle took pictures of my bruises from when the man had pushed me. It looked like I had been beaten with a baseball bat. He sent copies of the pictures to the security management of the stadium and to the police. The stadium said they couldn't do anything for me. The police did nothing either even though they had the guy's name and information.

As a result of this I have not gone to any sporting event unless I am cheering the home team. I hope someone will hear this and do something about the Ravens.
