Summary

For three days every summer, Baltimore's vibrant arts scene spills out onto the streets. Artscape features exhibits, fashion shows, concerts, dance, theater, children's entertainers, food vendors and more than 100 craftspeople. The festivities are centered in Mount Vernon, but galleries across the city hold events to coincide with Artscape. The Janet and Walter Sondheim Prize, which awards $25,000 and the chance to exhibit at a Baltimore museum, has become a major draw for artists across the region.
