I don't expect much movement on guns- it seems as if republicans prefer guns to people. So what if the price of owning yr bushmaster means occasional killings of small children- you should be willing to pay that price.
If I was a New town parent, I'd find a way to defeat republicans, for starters. They're like the tobacco ceos.
The more I hear Wayne La Pierre (NRA) the more I think he SHOULD be treated like a terrorist- monitored closely, etc. He seems to be threatening our government; should the members of his group be treated that way? Are they stockpiling military rifles against the government? They don't off reasonable gun control measures- they don't talk like collectors, sportsmen or recreational gun owners. Maybe the federal agencies should take a closer look?
