Obama has failed Sandy victims

What business does President Barack Obama have in sticking our nose in every other country's problems, and losing our heroic men and women daily to war, when we do not have the resources to help our own citizens on the Eastern Seaboard when Hurricane Sandy came through wiping out entire towns?

Yes, we were warned and prepared, but it did not stop the destruction. President Obama contacted FEMA immediately. Big deal. Has the Federal Emergency Management Agency given money out to help those who lost everything? Even the Red Cross is begging for funds to help our citizens.

Mr. Obama tried to capitalize on this during election time. Our hearts go out to these people, and we can't do anything other than give to the Red Cross. Entire families have lost everything, and President Obama has done zero.

The caliber of communication is in decline

Facebook and Twitter have recently been in the news — and not in a positive way. Some people actually are leaving social networking because they believe it is sharing too much, hence becoming embarrassing, and, more importantly, alienating them from real life.
