The Carroll County commissioners, who only recently wanted the world to know of their commitment to Christianity, have now chosen to put their beliefs into practice by refusing to even consider the idea of providing a decent place for immigrant children to live while their cases are decided by the courts ("Carroll Co. officials push back on shelter for immigrant children," July 11).
Sadly, this is the kind of hypocrisy that one has long been accustomed to seeing at the highest levels of Carroll County government.
