I live near the Cove Point liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the Chesapeake Bay, and the changeover from an import to an export facility is change of a magnitude not seen in the state of Maryland at any time before ("Natural gas bleeds into gubernatorial campaign," Dec. 12).

I and many other of the residents of the area are requesting that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission require that an Environmental Impact Study be done before any permits are granted to Dominion. An Environmental Assessment is not comprehensive enough!
