Bob Ehrlich says conservatives deserve a voice in "Maryland's largest newspaper." ("Ehrlich and The Sun: Once enemies, now partners," Jan. 28.) Yet when he was governor, Mr. Ehrlich saw fit to restrict the access of that same newspaper to the state government and thereby restricted access of hundreds of thousands of citizens and taxpayers to information about state government activities. This is yet another example of the hypocrisy of the right-wing hustlers that on the scene today. And, as we know, hypocrisy is just one of the failings of the Ehrlich brand. Couldn't The Sun find a more principled writer to present the conservative view?
