Ehrlich and GOP lack health care solutions [Letter]

Everyone knows it's far easier to criticize than to propose constructive solutions. Predictably, former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. provides a lengthy list of problems with the Affordable Care Act but no solutions ("Obamacare hurts more than helps," March 16).

Governor Ehrlich, exactly how would you (and the Republican Party) fix the least effective and most expensive health care system in the world? The silence is deafening.

B. Krueger, Ellicott City

Though I am 1960s retread boomer and unrepentant liberal who usually disagrees commentator Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., I read his column regularly. No surprise that he recently panned Obamacare — again — but what I never hear from Republicans is the Plan B, i.e., how we deal with the 40 million Americans...
