Kenneth James Hunt, 43, of Alanson, died Jan. 4, 2011, in Cheboygan.
He was born July 3, 1967, in Petoskey, the son of Ralph and Betty Hunt. He grew up in Afton and graduated from Inland Lakes High School.
On May 13, 2000, Kenneth married Terrie Merrill at the Lutheran Church in Brutus.
Kenneth was employed by Karriger Engineering in Alanson. He loved camping, fishing, woodworking and especially time with his family.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows.
Survivors include his wife, Terrie Hunt; children, Jennifer Smith, Amanda Laurie and Jessica Laurie; grandchildren, Britten Lewis, Merrssa Lewis, Alizabeth Lewis, Adriana Grubaugh, Collin Sutton; brother, Ralph Hunt, and niece, Gwen Hunt; and brother, Randy Eddy, and two children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Betty Hunt; and his brother, Paul Eddy.
A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Lions Club, 4439 M-68, in Indian River, with dinner following. The Rev. John Wallace will officiate.
