Adm. Charles R. Larson [Pictures]

Adm. Charles R. Larson, the onetime commander-in-chief of military forces in the Pacific who became superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy and campaigned for lieutenant governor of Maryland as Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's running mate, died July 26 at his home in Annapolis. He was 77.
