Pa. State Police chief to head NFL security
HARRISBURG, Pa. The Pennsylvania State Police chief who guided the agency through the Amish schoolhouse murders in 2006 will leave to direct the NFL's strategic security program. Col. Jeffrey Miller, 45, says he'll work on issues involving the integrity of the game, from fan conduct to security planning. Miller, state police commissioner since 2003, oversaw the investigation after a gunman killed five girls at an Amish schoolhouse before taking his own life.
