Rescuers pulled a man with ties to Wisconsin out of the rubble in Haiti Friday. The man, Daniel Woolley, spent more than two days trapped in an elevator in Haiti's capital.

Woolley's sister, Karen, is a doctoral student at UW-Milwaukee. She says her brother was on his way to get something to eat when the earthquake hit. He had just boarded an elevator when the temblor struck.

Woolley's sister says her brother is in Haiti working with Compassion International, helping bring attention to the plight of Aids-stricken children there.
