China says opposes Japan PM's offering to war dead shrine
BEIJING (Reuters) - China's Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it "resolutely opposes" Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's offering to a Tokyo shrine to war dead.
In a statement on the ministry's website, spokeswoman Hua Chunying urged Japan to "earnestly reflect on its history of aggression" for the healthy development of Sino-Japanese relations.
