Memorial Day business is still strong, despite fish kill, smell

A fishkill -- and its pungent aroma in the heat -- didn't deter tourists and residents from flocking to waterfront areas to kick off the Memorial Day holiday, but the spectacle, and stench, made for a telling display of some of the most difficult environmental problems in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Monday's NCAA tournament final will be an all-Maryland affair, with the hot-shooting Terps facing No. 1 seed Loyola in the title game.
