Tamara Byrd
More than two years after a car accident forced Tamara Byrd into the hospital, she received a bill for the stay. Byrd refused to pay and was sued by Sinai Hospital for more than $21,000. The Maryland Insurance Administration said neither the insurance company nor Byrd were responsible for paying the outstanding bill.
