Willie Mae White
Willie Mae White, 66, had emergency surgery for a brain aneuryism in 2005. Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center sued her for more than $36,000, though at the time of her stay she was told her balance was "zero." On Dec. 18, 2008, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center summoned White and wiped out the debt.
