Finally! Reisinger's going to have to put more focus on South Baltimore (Cherry Hill, Brooklyn, Curtis Bay) now that the political "distractions" of Federal Hill and Locust Point are out of his hands. Shame about losing your voter base, though...

The proposed realignment of district 10 represents a significant disenfranchisement of the voters in District 10, politically and economically. The boundaries have removed major business and economic resources to District 11 in addition to reducing the number of voters. It has only added land mass with few or no voters to District 10. It has bolstered District 11 at the expense of voters in District 10.
The Middle Branch communities (Cherry Hill, Westport, Brooklyn, and South Baltimore) are the next major growth area in Baltimore and have been effectively represented through a single legislative district. To subdivide the Middle Branch communities is to add a new step in an otherwise smooth, effective, community responsive working relationship. "Too many cooks spoil the broth" is a truism. Keep the high value resources and assets of District 10 in District 10. I urge my fellow voters to speak up and out against this disenfranchisement. Let's apply the KISS principle....Keep It Smart and Simple
