Top-paid lobbyists in Maryland for 2011
Eight Maryland lobbyists got more than $1 million in billing compensation, as companies spent heavily trying to promote their agendas in Annapolis. Lobbyists have to report their activities, and a listing is generated each time an advocate picks up an active client. In this gallery, you can see who each lobbyist is representing, and on what issues (in parentheses).

No. 10: Lisa Harris Jones
Lisa Harris Jones, of the firm Harris Jones Malone, was the tenth-highest billing lobbyist in 2011. According the the state ethics commission, she took in $857,000 over the 12 months that ended in October. She is a founding member of her firm, which says it is the only lobbying-focused law practice in the state to be owned by a black woman.

Sorry if this post shows up like 3 times-having problems with the online system. Anyway, this list is like a whose who of corruption. Those Occupy people should be protesting these people.
