Elected leaders in Maryland generally have their pay set by independent boards or commissions. Those who work full-time generally earn somewhere in the low six-figure range. Lawmakers who have part-time positions — like members of the General Assembly — make less.

pretty sad that the governor of the state makes one half of what the school superintendent makes. And our education system is no better than the state system.

Gunther....this rag used to do it to me all the time. sign up for the didgital subscription but do it through the place in New York State. that way this rag has to share the money with them. it hurts but not as much
