John Kasich for president

Maryland Republican primary voters can choose from two of the most divisive candidates their party has ever offered up for president — Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz — or they can pick the candidate who can unify the country and govern effectively once elected. Ohio Gov. John Kasich may not have a chance of securing a majority of delegates during the primary season, but a vote for him is far from wasted. It would send a clear signal to party leaders that Republican voters still demand competence and compassion from their nominees and could help set the tone for a contested convention.
