7 Democrats who could derail O'Malley's presidential plans

The next presidential election is years off, but the jockeying and media speculation over 2016 is well underway. Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley told The Baltimore Sun in April he is considering whether to run for the Democratic nomination. But he is only one of several Democrats who are leaving the door open about a run for the White House.
Most political analysts believe the former Secretary of State, senator from New York, and 2008 presidential candidate would clear the field if she runs in 2016. Early public opinion polls show the former first lady as the obvious favorite. Gov. Martin O'Malley has long supported Clinton and endorsed her in the 2008 primary against Barack Obama.
