Lions’ Craig Wiley hit a two-out two-run single to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh and shortstop Cameron Robinson followed with a walk-off single to beat the Gladiators in the first game of the spring break tournament. Brendan Foster pitched four scoreless innings and Gabe Delgado earned the win, pitching 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.

Glenelg pitcher John McAuliffe went 6 2/3 innings and allowed four hits — all singles — two walks, one hit by pitch and struck out five. Catcher Hank Koele had a pair of singles, McAuliffe walked three times and Seth Taylor and Eddie Dello Russo each had a double and a walk.

Gladiators senior Sean Kinloch pitched a complete game shutout, striking out seven, walking one and allowing only two singles against the Generals in the second game of the spring break tournament. John McAuliffe went 3-for-3 at the plate with two singles and a double, two stolen bases and two runs scored, Kinloch went 2-for-3 with a single, triple and two RBI, Sam Elisio went 2-for-3 with two singles, three RBI, a stolen base and a run scored and Eddie Dello Russo went 1-for-3 with a triple.

Jake Alagna hit a three-run home run, Sam Jacobson had three hits and four RBI and Cameron Robinson and Ryan Kulick each hit two doubles to pace the Lions’ offense. On the mound, Ryan Kulick picked up the win and Tim Jakubek and Ryan Kearney pitched in relief.
