The Vikings’ Vince Broccolino drilled a free kick from just outside the box into the upper left corner of the net to break a scoreless tie and give Mt. Hebron an overtime victory. The win snapped a two-game losing skid for the Vikings.

River Hill (6-0-2, 9-0-2) — 2, Wilde Lake (4-3-1, 6-4-1) — 1 OT

The Hawks scored in the final minute of regulation courtesy of a goal by Rohan Dalal off a feed from Alex Smedley to force overtime. Then Smedley converted the game-winning goal in the extra period off an assist from Justin Harris to keep River Hill unbeaten on the season and in first place in the county standings.

Centennial (6-2, 7-3-1) — 1, Howard (1-6-1, 2-8-1) — 0

Alex Keppler scored the game’s lone goal with four minutes remaining in the first half on the way to the shutout victory.

Marriotts Ridge (5-3, 7-4) — 1, Oakland Mills (4-2-2, 7-2-2) — 0

Caleb Yoon scored the game’s lone goal and Mustangs’ goalie Mark Antico made sure it was enough to earn the win by making 14 saves, including stopping a penalty kick.

Hammond (4-3-1, 6-4-1) — 3, Long Reach (1-7, 1-10) — 1

The Golden Bears won their third straight game, getting a pair of goals from Henry Turcios to lead the way past the Lightning. Anderson Mejia-Marroquin also added a goal and two assists.

Hammond also had Bawi Sang pick up an assist and goalie Brandon Eschman make five saves.
