St. Michael's Catholic Church's O.W.L.S. Club will be sponsoring a brunch and matinee at Toby's Dinner Theater Dec. 11 for the performance of "White Christmas."
The ticket includes bus transportation leaving from the Mount Airy Park & Ride on Route 27 at 10 a.m. Brunch will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by the show from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The bus should return to Mount Airy by around 3:45 p.m. Cost of the outing is $55.

The Circle D Fitness Center will be holding a "Blacklight Zumba Party" Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. A $5 donation is request to attend the "party." Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities.
No zumba experience is necessary and participants do not need to be members of the gym. This sounds like a great opportunity to try out the new zumba exercise program.

The Columbia Pro Cantare will be performing its Christmas program Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at The Jim Rouse Theatre at Wilde Lake High School, in Columbia.
Parts II and III of Handel's "Messiah" will be part of the concert. Several internationally-renowned solo artists will also be performing. Dr. Barbara Renton will conduct a free lecture before the concert at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the concert.
Tickets are $23 for adults and $20 for seniors and students. Tickets at the door are $25 and $22, respectively. Get your tickets quickly because this is usually a sold-out concert.
