Fulton Elementary fetes its 'fabulous' young readers [Highland Fulton]

Each month, the names of Fulton Elementary School students drawn from the "Reading Coupon" bins are invited to attend a dance party in the school gym.

The Fabulous Fulton Readers for the month of January are kindergarten students Blake Smoot, Jenna Loehr, Matthew Williams and Tristan Carter; first grade students Michelle Mason, Manan Zaveri, Hailyn Lai, Ben Gargano and Leo Im.

Second grade students are Lana Gordon, Ryan Nelson, Noah Ko, Zach Gaynor, Casey Van't Hoff and Carolyn Wong; third grade students, Kiersten Jewell, Michael Kopuroupis, Jaden Chery, Meron Nephtalem and Kshirja Delvadiya.

Fourth grade students are Melanie Robertson, Teodora Consoli, Monica Prince, Sonia Goyal, Matt Chua and Sam Ryu; fifth grade students, Max Son, Donovan Downie, Diego Castro, Ali Rajabi, and Victoria Zhang.

Over at Lime Kiln Middle School, the following students were named Students of the Week for the week ending Feb. 1: Jessica Wang, Cameron Prentice, Evan Curtin, Naveed Nekoo, Nimah Gulzari, Matthew Barila and Dominica Totaro. Keep up the great work.

The winners of the Student Spaceflight Program — Gregory Nelson, Josh Choi, Sofia Novacic and Ryan Olsen — were recognized at the annual State of the County luncheon at Turf Valley, County Executive Ken Ullman presiding.

Their project "The Effect of Microgravity on Chyseobacterium Aquaticum Growth" was very impressive.
