October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and lots of sports teams are wearing pink to commemorate breast cancer awareness, but did you know that the first full week in October was also green for National 4-H Week?

If you go to the Glenwood Library this month you will see the front showcase decorated for the Howard County 4-H Program.

Jennifer Brigante designed and created the display on behalf of the Happy Hounds 4-H Club, the Howard County Beef 4-H Club and the West Friendship Livestock 4-H Club.

If you are interested in learning more about the movement of positive change that is 4-H, go to extension.umd.edu/howard-county.
