Kayli Paugh tossed a no-hitter and the Lions stayed undefeated with the lopsided victory over the Wildecats.

Offensively, Howard registered 15 hits and scored runs in every inning but the third. Among the standouts were Berrit Batterton and Kimmie Vaughn, who each had multi-hit days and drove in 3 runs apiece. Batterton had a double and a triple, while Vaughn had two doubles.

Mt. Hebron 12, Oakland Mills 7

The Vikings got a solid pitching performance from Maddie Bennett for the second straight day, while Alli Bluhm smacked her first home run of the season, to lead the way to a five-run victory.

Mt. Hebron’s Rylee Kinsella continued her hot hitting to start the season with two doubles and two RBI. Rachel Cadigan had four hits and scored two runs. Mary Arsenault and Kamden Lloyd each had big hits during a 3-run fifth inning.

Defensively, Cadigan made a spectacular catch with her back to the infield in the sixth inning.

For Oakland Mills, Tori Gordon scored two runs, while Sydney Heflinger scored two runs to go with a double and a single.

The Gladiators used a five-run third inning to get the offensive support it needed to earn the one-run victory. Toni Pritchard (2-4, run) and Brooke Redmond (1-3, run, 2 RBI) were among the offensive standouts for Glenelg.
