The second annual Bull Blast rodeo at the Howard County Fair was again a hit, as hundreds of spectators packed the stands at the contest arena Monday to see cowboys hold on for dear life whilst angry bulls try to buck them off.

The rodeo, put on by Rockin' R Western Productions, featured about 30 bull riders, as well as halftime entertainment with horse races. A preview was also given of a balloon shooting event that will appear at the Bull Blast encore performance on Thursday.
