Mayor's Summer Jobs Program seeks applicants

A dozen students will have the opportunity to participate in the Mayor's Summer Job Program this year, which opens the online application process on Monday, April 24.

Students, ages 14 to 16, must live within the city limits to apply for summer positions that are available in the offices of Mayor Craig Moe; City Council; City Administrator; and Fire Marshal and Permit Services as well as the Laurel Police Department; Public Works; Parks and Recreation; Information Technology; Communications; and Budget and Personal Services.

Students will work no more than 20 hours a week between June 26 and Aug. 18, and receive $9.25 an hour. Interested applicants must apply before the deadline on May 5.
