A Laurel man was arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing his supervisor at the Laurel apartment complex where they both work and where the alleged assailant lives, according to Prince George's County police.
Robert Pandohie Jr., of the 9500 block of Muirkirk Road in South Laurel, is charged with first- and second-degree assault in connection with the incident, which occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Police said officers responded to Pandohie's address to a report of a cutting. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from several stab wounds, although the injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Police said investigators believe the victim approached Pandohie to discuss his attendance at work. The victim supervises Pandohie on the maintenance staff at the apartment complex, police said.
Pandohie is believed to have attacked the victim, police said.
Police said the victim was able to wrestle the knife away during the struggle. Responding patrol officers arrested Pandohie and recovered the knife, police said.
