Laurel seniors can dine and dance at Spring Fling

The city's Division of Senior Services is hosting an evening of dinner and dancing, with live music, on Saturday, May 18 at Partnership Hall, 811 Fifth St.

Seniors can register for the Spring Fling (course no. 5713) at Laurel Armory or the Robert J. DiPietro Community Center. Registration can be mailed to Laurel Parks and Recreation, 422 Montgomery St., Laurel, MD 20707. Cost is $20.

Doors open at 4 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres. Dinner is catered by Maryland Country Caterers and features Tuscan fire-roasted boneless chicken with mango salsa, tropical salad with raspberry and ranch dressing on the side, chilled ginger noodles, roasted vegetable medley, beverage and dessert.

Ed Jones and the Young Bucks, featuring Freddie Frazier, will provide music.

For transportation to and from the event, call the Division of Senior Services at 301-776-6168. Cost for round trip transportation is $3 for seniors living within the city limits; or free to registered riders.
