High school seniors can learn about career and college opportunities and meet representatives from colleges and local businesses at the second annual Laurel High School College and Career Fair on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the lobby of the school's auditorium, 8000 Cherry Lane.
Some colleges will offer on-site admissions and application fee waivers. Students should bring an official transcript, a copy of their SAT or ACT scores and, if required for admission, two letters of recommendation.
More than 50 colleges are expected to be represented, including the five military service academies.
The fair is sponsored by County Council member Mary Lehman with Laurel High PTSA and Suited 4 Success.
