Voters can meet City Council candidates at the Laurel Board of Trade's candidate forum Monday, Oct. 21 at the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road.
All candidates in this year's City Council elections have been invited to attend. The evening begins with an informal meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m., followed by a panel interview from 7 to 9 p.m.
Questions for the candidates may be submitted in advance to the Laurel Board of Trade at firstname.lastname@example.org. A moderator will read the questions to the candidates, and some questions will be taken from the audience.
Laurel voters will go to the polls Nov. 5 to elect two Council members from their own ward, and the at-large Council member. All races – Ward 1, Ward 2 and at-large – are contested.
