Prince George's County Police Officer Adrian Morris will be remembered by a yearly law enforcement bike ride that will make a stop in the county on Sunday, May 12.
Morris, of Laurel, died in August after his cruiser crashed during a police chase on Interstate 95 in Beltsville.
Law Enforcement United bicyclists take a three-day bike ride each May from Chesapeake, Va., and Reading, Pa., to Washington for Police Week. The ride is held to remember law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, and the officers' families.
Bicyclists in this year's ride will stop at the Prince George's Police Department District II station, 601 Crain Highway, on Sunday, May 12 at 9 a.m. to present Morris' family with a gift.
