Gorman Crossing and Murray Hill middle schools will cohost a Back to School 5K Run on Oct. 5. The event promotes well being and fitness along with community pride. This is the first year the run will be sponsored by both schools.
The run will start at the schools and go through the local community.

Success in Style will hold a Pink Bag Lunch on Oct. 27 in the Great Room in the Savage Mill. This event will host networking opportunities, a fashion show and some great shopping, as well as lunch.
The cost is $35 each or two tickets for $50. The money raised will go to support those out of work gain employment by helping with interview skills and supplying proper clothing. The email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hammond Elementary School will hold its Fall Festival on Sept. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. They will have games, an obstacle course, face painting and a whole lot more. It will be held rain or shine.

Fulton Elementary School will hold a coat drive in October. New or gently used coats, hats and gloves are needed. They should be in good condition and clean.
