Girl Scout Troop 1508's Community Yard Sale is at the North Laurel Community Center on May 4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spaces are $15 each or $25 for a double.

Very big congratulations to North Laurel's own Tai Sophia Institute. It has become Maryland University of Integrative Health.
Only a few schools in the country have gained university status with a focus on integrative health — health and wellness using contemporary and traditional philosophies.

The Savage Community Association will host a Spring Plant Sale on May 4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Carroll Baldwin Memorial Hall. The sale will offer annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetables at discount prices. The association got the plants through the program eMerge, which provides employment to individuals with developmental disabilities. The hall is at 9035 Baltimore Street.
Savage Fest will be on June 1 at the Baldwin Commons. The Fest is always a fun time with a parade, live music, pony rides, a petting zoo and over 50 booths. Those wishing to have a booth should contact Myra Phelps at 240-786-7265.
