Girl Scouts collect food and funds for pets [North Laurel/Savage]

Girl Scouts in Troop 151 are working toward their Silver Award by gathering pet food to the Food Bank and now to the Harvest for Hungry Campaign. They were recently on Fox 45 news and are still collecting food and funds for pets.

Many pets end up in shelters because their families cannot afford to feed them. Now they can get help. The girls have dropped off over 600 pounds of food at the food bank so far and will be starting an awareness campaign through the schools. Y
