Madame BBQ food truck is now Mindgrub Cafe

For Howard Magazine
Mindgrub Cafe food truck aims to serve "fuel for the brain."

What if food can do more than nourish our bodies? What if it can feed our minds, too?

That’s the concept behind the new Mindgrub Cafe food truck operated by Oella resident Nikki Marks, a local culinary entrepreneur and the wife of Todd Marks, CEO of local tech company Mindgrub.

Mindgrub Cafe grew out of one of Nikki Marks’ most recent projects, the Madame BBQ food truck. Last fall, she rebranded the truck around the tagline “fuel for the brain” and transitioned the menu from barbecue to fare that’s healthier, but no less tasty, like Mexican-spiced quinoa bowls.

Healthy food that tastes great, Marks reasons, makes for a sharp, creative mind.
