Columbia, Ellicott City schools partner with SUBWAY

The Howard County Public School System has announced a partnership with SUBWAY to encourage healthier lifestyles in several Columbia and Ellicott City schools.

Under the partnership, SUBWAY will work with students at Howard High School and Ellicott Mills Middle School in Ellicott City, and Oakland Mills High School, Phelps Luck and Thunder Hill elementary schools in Columbia.

The schools and SUBWAY will jointly offer a variety of activities and incentives to support students’ academic, attendance and/or behavioral goals, according to school officials. At the high school level, SUBWAY will explore internship opportunities for highly motivated students.
