Reservoir baseball edges Glenelg, 2-1

The Reservoir baseball team fell behind early Saturday against Glenelg, but came back to win

The Glenelg baseball team scored a run against Reservoir ace Cody Morris in the top of the first on Saturday, but it was the only run the Gladiators would get in a 2-1 loss to the Gators.

Morris allowed only two hits in five innings, striking out nine and walking three, before turning the ball over to fellow senior Jack Barry, who pitched two perfect innings with three strikeouts to earn the save.

Reservoir scored both of its runs in the bottom of the sixth, with freshman Kevin Harrington driving in one of the runs.

Chris Ransom singled and walked for Glenelg. Chris Lipp got on base twice with a pair of walks.

Carter Mullinix pitched five strong innings for Glenelg, striking out three.
