Alicia Hsieh had five goals and an assist and Martha Hutzell had three goals and four assists as Centennial overwhelmed Long Reach, 17-4, in a game played at Blandair Park.

Imani Sanders scored two of the Long Reach goals.

Eight players scored as River Hill defeated Hammond, 20-4. Jenna Collins (four), Emily Hamburger (three), Halley Seybold (three) and Clare Napoli (three) led the Hawks’ scoring. Nine of the team’s goals were assisted.

Indian Creek 10, Chapelgate 7

Chapelgate played Indian Creek in a rematch of last year’s Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference championship game. The final score of Thursday afternoon’s game was different but the result was the same with Indian Creek winning, 10-7.

“The game went back and forth between the teams with scoring and possession,” said Chapelgate coach Colleen Norton. “It was a very well played game by both teams.”

Emma Rufolo was Chapelgate’s top scorer with four goals. Abbi O’Neil (three) led Indian Creek.
