Despite being under the weather the last several days, Atholton’s Alex Herschman continues to dominate in the circle for the Raiders. She earned her 12th win Wednesday, striking out nine and not allowing any earned runs. She also contributed offensively by going 1-3 with a run scored and an RBI.

Atholton junior shortstop Nikki Martin (2-3, RBI, 2 stolen bases) and sophomore outfielder Gina D’Asto (2 runs, 3 walks, 2 stolen bases) were big pieces of the win as well. D’Asto threw out a runner at second base early in the game and another at home later to complete a double play from left field.
