Wilde Lake put its run on the board in the fifth inning courtesy of a couple walks and then an infield hit by sophomore Hailey Setley. The Wildecats seemed poised to add a couple more runs, but Atholton got out of the inning after a line drive to shortstop led to a rally-killing double play. Sophomore Marissa Sciabarra had the team’s only other hit.
