Emily Wang pitched a gem for the Gators, allowing just one hit, one walk and striking out 12 batters on her way to helping her team beat the Lightning.

On the other side of the ball, Reservoir put together 10 hits and broke things open with a combined six runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Wang accounted for three of the hits, one of which was a double, and she also had a run scored and a RBI. Carly Clarke added two hits and Hannah Pinion had a 3-RBI double.

Noelle Colligan had the lone hit for Long Reach.

Stepping out of conference play, the Yellowjackets cruised past St. Andrews thanks to a no-hitter by pitcher Phoebe Cleaver. She struck out 10 batters over five innings, while the team’s offense provided plenty of support.

Katie Schwartz led the attack with three hits, while Lydia Martin was right behind with two base knocks. Bethanne Venkatesen added a double. Clara Sevy had a team-high 3 RBI.
