The Vikings had a pair of chances inside of the last two minutes, but a pair of late penalties allowed Centennial to run out the rest of the clock.

“We had our chances,” McCarthy said. “We won about 60 percent of the face-offs, got the ball down and got good looks, but Ruygrok made the saves. They made plays when they had to in the end and we didn’t.”

Centennial will face Glenelg — a 9-5 winner over Atholton in the other semifinal —Wednesday at 7 p.m.
