Police release surveillance from Ellicott City burglary

Howard County police have released video surveillance from the burglary of an Ellicott City residence hoping it will lead to an arrest in the case, police said Thursday.

Police have also offered a $500 reward.

The incident occurred on June 20 in the 5100 block of Crestwood Lane in Ellicott City. Police said the burglary occurred at 10:45 a.m. and that multiple burglars entered the residence by breaking a window lock.

Cash, documents, a safe, and jewelry were stolen.

Only one burglar is see on the video; a woman with dark hair wearing black clothes. 

Police are asking anyone with information to call 410-313-STOP.
