The Glenelg boys lacrosse team has had quite a run under Head Coach Josh Hatmaker.
In 10 years, they've won six county titles, three state championships and, until last month, held a 60-game win streak against county opponents.
After that loss in week 1 to Centennial, the Gladiators got a reality check; they were no longer invincible against league opponents. Instead, the team from Howard High School has stepped up as the team to beat.
Hatmaker opened his doors to the Howard County Times to give an in-depth look at Glenelg lacrosse — from practice, to pre-game scouting tests — as his team prepared to take on Howard in the Lions' den. He also allowed himself to be wired for sound during the game.
